Bobcat DEPOSIT
You are looking at a semi finished blade ready for the handle of your choice. The blade in the picture is NOT the same one being purchased. The one you will receive will have its own character as it is hand ground and shaped. The dimension’s are exactly the same. This is ONLY the DEPOSIT for a custom handle option. The new updated Bobcat comes in AEB-L stainless now. After trial and error we decided to make it a tad thinner for weight savings and the steel hones easier. We have found that majority of people use it as intended for skinning and not a camp knife making AEB-L the perfect steel for it. The options you have for customization are as follows. Please read everything before purchase.
-Steel: AEB-L Stainless cryogenically tempered to 61 RC.
Custom options
This is not the limit these are just options. Quotes for the finished knife will be given based off your choices.
-Wood; all are stabilized and can be natural or dyed colors
-Composite; G10 color choice, carbon fiber, micarta etc…
-Pins; mosaic, G10, Copper, steel, Brass, etc…
-Liners; G10 color choice, natural canvas (part between steel and handle material)
-Engraving etch; Words and letters generally are $25, Logos start at $40. You MUST send me a proof of a crisp black and white image to see if it is possible for me to do.
-Spacers; They are for combos to separate multiple materials, they can be as complicated as you like in a large variety of materials and colors
-Sheath; Holstex or Kydex. Patterns available but not limited to Leather pattern, Carbon Fiber pattern, OCP camo and a few others available.
Final prices generally start at $275 and can be $500 plus depending on materials selected. You may contact me via email or anyway you see fit for a rough estimate before purchase if you would like. I will try and respond in a timely manner to give you an idea of what the total might be and if what you want is even available. A $40 charge is added to custom orders. Example: A knife built not for custom order ready for quick ship is $300. If you want the exact same build it will be $340. This additional fee covers communication time and ordering materials.
